What this app is, in one paragraph
ParentOS AI is an educational coaching tool for parents of children ages 3–12. It helps you find calm language for hard moments, build predictable screen-time plans, track small wins, and get an honest, non-shaming triage check when you're unsure if a symptom needs a doctor. It is not a medical service, a mental-health service, an emergency service, or a substitute for a clinician.
When to use the app
- • Before a known hard moment (5pm screen-time transition).
- • During a meltdown, when you need exact words.
- • At the end of a hard week, to see what worked.
- • When you're unsure if something is medical — use Safety Check.
When NOT to use the app
- • Active emergency — call 911 first, ParentOS later.
- • Mental-health crisis — call 988 or your child's clinician.
- • Medication or treatment decisions — those go to a pediatrician.
- • If a calm script feels wrong for your child, trust your gut. You're the expert.

Already need triage?
Run the Safety Check tool. It's a triage helper — not a diagnosis — with hard escalation to Emergency for obvious red flags.
